The Bishop of Dunedin at Hui te Rangiora
11/08/2010The Bishop of Dunedin, Kelvin Wright and the Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral, Trevor James, will be taking a church service at Hui te Rangiora on Sunday 22 August 2010 at 10 am.
After the service, which will include communion, we will have the opportunity to hui with them both in Huirapa followed by a morning tea.
The main item for discussion will be the ceremony and dedication of the Parata Chapel at the Cathedral.
Environmental Restoration Project - Waitati - Public meeting
31/07/2010ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION PROJECT - WAITATI
An opportunity has arisen for sponsorship for a major community environmental restoration project over the next few years.
The proposed site for this project restoration is the Orokonui Scenic Reserve - Waitati (area around the estuary and confluence of the Orokonui and Waitati Streams).
A public/community meeting is planned to enable all who are interested to discuss this proposed project.
Come along - learn more about it - share your ideas and experience - be involved from the beginning.
