HMNZS Otago - Marae visit 25 July 2010
An invitation extended by David Ellison, Ūpoko, to Lieutenant Commander Simon Rocke, commanding officer of HMNZS Otago, to visit Puketeraki Marae has been accepted.
Lieutenant Commander Rocke, who will be accompanied by nine (9) naval ratings, will be welcomed onto the marae at midday, Sunday 25th July 2010.
David encourages members of Kati Huirapa Rūnaka ki Puketeraki, especially those with a connection to service in the navy, to support this visit.
